MindVox, Inc. Is a corporate entity with a solid track-record of DELIVERING
upon its claims in a timely manner. Everything we do has its foundation in the
12-step programs, a strong and enduring, highly codependent relationship with
our therapists, and strict adherence to a full-spectrum, multi-phasic dosing
regimen of a wide plethora of medications.
Nothing we accomplish would be possible without a veritable army of lawyers,
mental-health professionals and mountains of drugs -- we meant to say, MEDICATION.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have made all of
this possible: Our Parents. Who are all highly intelligent, over-educated, super-productive
people, who were far too busy making a lotta money while we were growing up
to pay any attention to us. Not having the benefit of many decades worth of
therapeutic insight, they intuitively grasped that which Freud articulated --
and Jewish people always knew -- namely, other than sex; guilt is what makes
the world go 'round.
Therefore it is extremely important to make up for past mistakes, by showering
an endless stream of money upon us, so that we might continue to individually,
and collectively, burn through millions, with nothing to show for it except
possibly our own personal garbage-dump of used syringes, broken crackpipes and
empty bottles of all varieties -- not to mention a whole lotta once expensive
designer clothing, now laying is said trash-heap, stained with liquor and full
of cigarette holes.
This by no means suggests that we are irresponsible, obnoxious, useless human
beings. On the contrary, our Whole Entire Life is a heroic STRUGGLE.
With genetics: which have MADE US shoot, snort, drink and smoke BAD THINGS.
Our DISEASE: we are drug-addicts in recovery, which in and of itself, is not
just a full-time job, but an exciting career!
Our underlying psychopathology: our parents and society made us this way, we
had nothing whatsoever to do with it. (See also: genetics, and our disease.)
We don't want to imply that nothing is ever OUR FAULT -- God knows, everything
else that's left, we take full responsibility for. Except, possibly, those actions
which were motivated by our id.
In closing, we are merely victims of circumstance, cast adrift upon a vast
ocean of dysfunction, and fighting an endless battle with MYSTERIOUS FORCES
BEYOND HUMAN COMPREHENSION which strive to make us do TERRIBLE THINGS.
